MAY 2011
"KNOCKING ON SEVEN'S DOOR"
On their first outing of 2011 the Panic Attack Racing Team
tuned the newly engined Dragster to a best ever 8.14 ET at 162mph.
(That's a full half second quicker than last year.)
Dennis said "it's a completely different animal now"
and Jim says there are quicker times to come.

MARCH 2011
BIGGER, STRONGER, FASTER
The Panic Attack Dragster is getting a complete new engine for 2011.
A 427 cubic inch Dart Little M with 14:1 Pistons and 300cfm heads.
All new from the oilpan up to our proven Enderle Alcohol Injection.
This is the biggest upgrade yet for Panic Attack Racing
and the result of a winter's worth of planning.
Plenty of preparations are underway now to be ready for our first race on May 7.
The 2011 Panic Attack Racing season promises to be exciting in many ways
so please check in regularly for the latest news.
Meantime all are invited to try winning the pool to guess the new engine's Peak Horsepower.

"DRIVING MISS BROGIE"
The Panic Attack Racing Team spent a sunny September Saturday at Luskville Dragway
doing our first on-track testing of Jim's new Brogie SuperGas Street Roadster.
It handled great, has lots of power, and made several successful passes that showed
it's strong potential for next years racing season.

LUSKVILLE RACE WEEKEND PRESENTED BY PANIC ATTACK RACING
Panic Attack Racing returned to Luskville Dragway SuperPro competition Sunday
where a strong field of competitors kept everyone entertained with close, exciting races.
Along with supporting Luskville's Anniversary Nostalgia Weekend and a unique "No BuyBack" Race
the Panic Attack Team hosted a trackside Thank You Lunch for Family and Friends.

"EVERY RACE IS AN AWAY RACE"
Grand Bend Motorplex, Lake Huron Ontario.
During a rain delayed Extreme 32 Race Saturday followed by a rainout Sunday
the Panic Attack Dragster improved it's best yet 1/4 mile ET with an 8.65.
Special Thanks to pit neighbour Mike for sharing his support and experience.

WESTERN SWING -Part One
Dateline: Toronto Motorsports Park, Cayuga Ontario
With
Dennis' daughter Jenny as Crew on Saturday and Jenny and her husband
Mike on Sunday the PanicAttackRacing Dragster ran it's best 1/4 mile
times yet and finished "in the money" both days.

AUGUST 1 2010
"WINNING IS FUN"
After a perfect pass on the
1/8th Saturday night with a 5.20 on a 5.2 dial and a .002 R/T the Panic
Attack Racing Team was ready for the QUICK 16 NHRA Challenge at
Napierville. Sunday morning the Panic Attack Dragster qualified near the
top half of the ladder in a strong field. A first round win outrunning a
7 sec. 4-Link Dragster followed by chasing down a doorslammer in second
round and a win over a new ProStock style Dodge in the Semi's put the
Panic Attack Team in their first ever Final Round Competition against a
tubbed bigblock Firebird. With the Firebird dialed in on essentially the
same numbers as the Panic Attack Dragster this would turn out to be a
very close Drag Race. The Panic Attack Dragster was tree'd by the
Firebird but ran the Firebird down to within a scant .008 sec at the
traps to finish in the RunnerUp position. So the Panic Attack Racing
Team "picked up their money and headed back in to town" happy and ready
for next time.

"GETTING MY ACT TOGETHER AND TAKING IT ON THE ROAD"
The
Panic Attack Racing Dragster will be making it's first Western Swing in
August with over 3000km travel to Markham, Toronto, Quebec, and
Southern Ontario . Plans are being made for a July 31 Nostalgia Race
Weekend at Napierville Quebec, an Aug 7 Raceday at Toronto Motorsports
Park in Cayuga, an August 14 Nostalgia Race at St Thomas Dragway, a
number of Show and Tell days, and a month ending Nostalgia Race Weekend
back at Luskville Dragway on Aug 29. Watch for more updates on this
ambitious schedule.

Annual Arnrior Canada Day car Show where the cars received a lot of
attention from a lot of friends old and new.

"A Winning Day"
On this Perfect Sunny Sunday at Luskville Dragway the Panic Attack
Racing Team had it's most successful day to date with a finish "in the
money" after 7 Rounds of Eliminations. Jim and Joe joined Dennis to
prepare and tune the Panic Attack Dragster and it ran
flawlessly posting it's best Luskville times ever. This advance deep in
to the Elimination Round Quarter Finals against strong competition has
wet the appetite of the Panic Attack Team for an overall event win.

"Flying Solo"
A big day for Panic Attack racing with Dennis at the track and running
the car solo as the rest of the team was unable to be there. The day was
well spent with a lot of testing and adjustments to the setup and
a couple rounds of eliminations earned some points. Dennis said "The day
was a lot of work and I missed those guys."

"Here We Grow Again"
We have a new Home Away from Home for the Panic Attack Racing Team with
the addition of a fully equipped Motorhome that doubles as a tow
vehicle. Our first weekend at the track with the Panic Attack RV was
quite relaxed and comfortable and we look forward to more trips further
afield this summer. When you see us at the track please drop in.

"Back To The Future"
First 2010 day of Test and Tune for the Panic Attack Racing Team at
Luskville Dragway (with a photo that looks not surprisingly like last
year's).
Great to be back and spend a day at the Dragstrip.
The Panic
Attack Dragster performed well with the changes made over the winter and
by day's end was showing it's potential for this year's competition. |
